In this brand new talk, professional nature and landscape photographer Murray Livingston shares insights from his ongoing multi-year project, This Land Remembers, a unique photographic storytelling odyssey exploring Scotland’s last remaining remnants of the Ancient Caledonian Forest.
Along with stories and images from Scotland, Murray discusses the benefits of developing long-term projects, how to find and photograph concepts that are unique to your creative vision, and why we should harness the power of images to communicate ideas.
Images from Murray’s project have been published in Outdoor Photography Magazine, Poetic Visuals, and most recently featured in the Trees for Life’s 2026 calendar, a Scottish Rewilding Charity.
The talk will be for approximately 1 hour followed by a Q&A session.

If you wish to cancel your booking PLEASE let the event leader / organiser know with as much notice as possible.
If you have paid for an event, please note that this fee/ticket price is non-refundable unless we are able to sell your place to somebody else.
Cancellation by us:
Occasionally an event may be cancelled for several reasons but we try to avoid this as far as possible.
If an event is cancelled we will give you as much notice as we are able and any payment by you to the RPS in respect of the event offered as a full refund.
Please note we are NOT able to refund any associated or consequential costs including but not limited to travel, accommodation, insurance premium or other costs incurred by you in order to attend the event.
