Scene + Heard Presents: La Haine
Join us as we follow the sound of the police onto the gritty Parisian banlieu housing estates of 1995 in Mathieu Kassowitz's cult French film, La Haine.
Politically confrontational, the film charts a day in the life of three friends struggling against hopelessness and urban blight.
The screening will be followed by a DJ line up of Shyone, The Dubious Doobies and Kenga exploring the golden era of hiphop in all its glory.
Held at the Whirled cinema tucked away in railway arches by Loughborough Junction. (Brixton underground station is a 10 minute walk away).
