Matter is a platform, research studio and consultancy exploring the relationship between materials, ideas and processes. Launching at One Good Deed Today, during the London Design Festival, Matter presents a series of talks, workshops and events.
Living in a Material World is an exhibition taking you on a journey of experiencing materiality through all five senses including talks, events and workshops.
26th September is the day of Taste and we've got tasting, a talk and a demonstration continuing the Festival.
Save the Date Cafe makes delicious dishes out of food destined for landfill. Here they challenge you to identify the ingredients in their waste-food creations.
Save the Date Cafe is East London’s finest waste food cafe serving food which has been intercepted from landfill served up as delicious and exciting dishes. All food is sold on a pay-as-you-feel basis and everyone is welcome in the space. The cafe is a community initiative which allows everyone to eat great food in a friendly, fun environment regardless of budget. We believe that everyone should be able to go out and eat great food!
