Niki will lead a story-telling walk through Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park where we will meet a host of magical characters including trees, plants and animals. The first half of the workshop will involve outdoor sensory play through searching for the characters and making sounds with them in the park. The second half of the workshop will involve drawing from our discoveries at the Soanes Centre.

Niki is an artist, filmmaker and facilitator based in London. She is a resident at the Arts and Media School of Islington, as part of Cubitt gallery’s Reclaim Islington programme. Working at the interplay between the analogue and the digital, she uses obsolete recording devices and her imperfect knowledge of languages to document stories and re-narrate her family's tales.
