Sass Brown and the River Deep Band Live at Burton Town Hall

Location

Date

Aug 31 2018 19:30 - 23:00

Description

On Friday 31st August, Sass B and the River Deep Band will be playing at Burton Town Hall. We're a Midlands based general covers and Tina Turner tribute band that started when a bunch of medical students got together to form a band back in 1989.

The bar will be open and we're hoping to get a DJ as well. All profits will go to Burton and District Mind; a Mental Health Charity covering East Staffordshire. Their work is invaluable to the local community in Burton and the surrounding areas. As medics, we see the good they do on a regular basis and the value of their work cannot be underestimated. So please put the date in your diary, come along for a sing along and a dance.

Bring your family, your friends, your kids and your parents. The room has a capacity of 400 and we desperately want to raise something worthwhile for Mind who have helped so many patients of ours. Of lesser importance, you will be helping a bunch of friends live a little dream as we start gigging for real. We have some proper paid gigs to come, but this is just an excuse to play for fun and without pressure, and also to raise money for a great charity. After-all, it’s never too late to do something new.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
