Having toured relentlessly around the US, and taken in slots on various prime time TV talk shows, his new record sees him reflecting back his early musical heroes, having soaked it up on the road there. Citing influences from JJ Cale to Dire Straights, and a little Black Keys, this is a healthy dose of brilliantly executed americana, courtesy of our friends at PledgeMusic.

Her voice has all the class and control of Norah Jones, Laura Marling and Linda Perhacs, and the songs are intelligently put together, lyrically smart. She was asked to perform at Olympic Park as part of 2012 and has supported Feeder, Ralph McTell, Lucy Rose, Lindi Ortega, The Proclaimers and Glenn Tilbrook. This is undoubtedly an artist you'll be seeing a lot more of.
