Description
Join us on 27th July for an evening of theatre, poetry + discussion on the themes of displacement, home and the experience of young people of colour growing up in the UK.
The S+K Project has adapted writings from recent history as well as work from our contemporaries to create original and thought-provoking pieces of theatre with young actors, predominantly from BAME backgrounds. The evening will also involve spoken word poetry by young people of colour from some of the UK's major cities, capturing the essence of experiences from voices across the UK. This will be followed by a Q+A with our cast and creative team, as well as discussions with a panel of young creatives of colour; this will be chaired by journalist + broadcaster Antoine Allen.
Come to Dalston Eastern Curve Garden at 7pm for an entertaining, educational and exciting evening of fresh and innovative art, as part of #SKfest! Tickets are limited so make sure you grab yours for only £3.99 now! £5 on the door.
