McGlade’s comedy is always without restraints, he is a proud working class Smoggie who performs with unbridled passion. In this hard-hitting hour of comedy Chris shares the story of his father’s murder in 2011, attempting to lay to rest the ghosts that have since haunted him. Chris’ work is a million miles from the liberal comedy consensus. His story is both shocking and brutal and he tackles working class life with a with a zealot’s desire to reveal the hypocrisy in modern Britain. It might not sound funny and is certainly un-PC but this is a must see show.
