ROS COOKE (Physiotherapist MCSP Msc HCPC)

Working with people to achieve their goals is something Ros is very lucky to do everyday in her career as a physiotherapist which has taken her from working the trauma wards and rehabilitation gyms of Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham to the English Institute of Sport as Lead physio for England Netball for 5 years and now in her current role as Senior Physiotherapist in Multisport based at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Health in London. Along this journey there has been lots of travel home and abroad to different competitions, World Cups and Commonwealth Games, a MSc completed, research papers published and a few 70:3 triathlons completed.

This year Ros also was fortunate to take on a new life long job role as a Mum and this has brought about a new appreciation for sleep, coffee and her running buggy! Wanting to make the most of maternity leave, get back into shape and meet other active mums, Ros linked up with Wendy to set up Buggy Squad. Ros has always been active and she takes inspiration from those around her be that Olympians or those starting out on their running journeys.

WENDY RUMBLE

Back in 2015 a British runner and mum of two young children launched the UK’s first ever specialist retail website dedicated solely to buggies for running – aptly named ‘RunningBuggies.Com’. Wendy Rumble is on a mission to increase the awareness of running buggies in the UK so more parents can find their freedom to exercise when they do not have childcare. Her unique business model provides 121 advice on the best buggy for the individual based on her experience running with her children in them. Her mission has taken her to the House of Parliament to meet the UK minister for Sport and the Prime Minister to discuss this topic in 2016. She often writes blogs and articles published in running publications and in running forums. This year she completed the New Forest marathon and Bournemouth Marathon in the space of 4 weeks.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
