    Description

The SE region invite you to an Online Advisory day for those working towards their Licentiate Distinction. You may well know that ALL Licentiate Distinctions will be via digital route from April 2024 onwards, so take this opportunity to assemble your panel. Attending this Advisory day will give you the opportunity to discuss your portfolio in a professional but friendly atmosphere.

At this particular event, we will only be looking at digital submissions.

This is a day open to both members and non-members of the Society,

What are the requirements for Licentiate?

The Distinction ‘Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society’ is the first level of the RPS’s Distinctions. Licentiate members of The RPS are entitled to use the letters LRPS after their name. The standard is high, but achievable for most dedicated photographers.

In summary, you will need 10 images that fulfil the guidelines for a Licentiate Distinction with and an associated hanging plan. These will all be JPG’s and will need to be transmitted digitally as detailed in the instructions that will follow after you sign up.

    Who is the Advisor?

    • David Jordan

What advice will I receive on the day?

All comments made on the day are the opinion of one person, given their extensive experience and knowledge of the distinctions process. Ultimately it is the applicants/photographer’s responsibility to fulfil the criteria and requirements.

All comments on the day will be based on the assessment criteria.
