Description
Join us on Sunday 21st June at 13:45 for a photography session in Whitstable. We’ve split the event into two parts.
Part 1 involves photographing the renowned Whitstable Oyster Farm.
With the incoming tide, the oyster beds create a stunning scene, especially when using a long exposure. Here’s the plan:
- 12:06: Low tide.
- 13:45: Meet on the beach to set up.
- 14:05: Enter the water and start taking photos.
- 14:15: The best time to capture the shots.
- 14:40: Lower detail is going and it’s getting too deep for wellingtons.
The best photos are taken close to the beds. You’ll need wellington boots or, if you’re brave, go barefoot! We should allow time to return the wellingtons to cars.
Part 2 involves a walk along the beach to the harbour and then into town.
Since time isn’t critical now, we could have a coffee and then head to the fascinating harbour and town, finishing around 16:45
