If you’re a beach, seaside, and sunset photography enthusiast, you’ve got to join us for an epic adventure! We’re going to capture the mesmerising beauty of Reculver Towers at high tide and sunset with the RPS SE. It’s a free walkabout and photographic session that you won’t want to miss!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at 4:00 PM. We’ll meet in the car park right next to the Reculver Towers. We’ve used GROK, an AI program, to figure out the perfect time. It tells us that high tide is at 6:40 PM and sunset is at 6:00 PM.
The ruins and the sea are absolutely stunning, especially at high tide and with a long exposure. It’s also a spring tide, so the scenery and light will change as the waves reach the shore at different heights. It’s going to be a breathtaking experience!
We’ll be taking short and long exposure images of the shoreline and the Towers as the tide rises. The light and scenery will change as the waves reach the shore at different heights, culminating in high tide at 6:40 PM.
Don’t forget to bring your wellies early on because a view of the Towers from the sea is incredibly interesting.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes.
