                           * For RPS Landscape Group Members Only *

We are delighted to announce the two well-known professional photographers who will be giving talks on the 2nd of March alongside our Annual General Meeting.   Zoom link will be in the confirmation email.

Session 1: Lizzie Shepherd - "Mood versus Composition"

    9:30–10:30

Lizzie is a fulltime professional photographer based in North Yorkshire, specialising in landscape, nature and travel photography. She runs small group photography workshops, and also writes and speaks about photography for various organisations.

“ Mood vs composition” – exploring how our compositional choices, as much as the conditions, can affect the resulting feel and mood of our photographs.

    Session 2: AGM *

    10:30 –11:00

Papers supporting the meeting will be available by 12th February on the Landscape SIG website here.

Please submit any questions to landscapesecretary@rps.org before the 24th February. These will be collated and answered by the committee during the AGM.

Session 3: Justin Minns FRPS – “Undiscovered Essex”

    11:15–12:15

Justin is a professional landscape photographer and tutor based in Suffolk. His work takes him to many parts of the world but his real passion is for the atmospheric landscapes of East Anglia.

"Undiscovered Essex" - How a vague project to photograph the quieter parts of the Essex coast snowballed into the subject of a book and an FRPS.

    * This session will be recorded - ie only the AGM.

Terms for RPS Landscape Group online events:

Cancellation by You:                                                                                              If you wish to cancel your booking PLEASE let the event leader / organiser know with as much notice as possible. If nothing else, this can avoid them delaying the start of the event while they wait for you.

If you have paid for an event, please note that this fee/ticket price is non-refundable unless we are able to sell your place to somebody else. You are welcome to sell your place yourself but, again, PLEASE notify the event leader / organiser in advance of any change.

    Cancellation by us:
Occasionally an event may need to be cancelled owing to lack of bookings or other reasons beyond our control. So if you wish to attend an event, don’t leave it till the last minute to book as it may be too late.

If an event is cancelled we will give you as much notice as we are able and any payment by you to the RPS in respect of the event offered as a full refund. In the case of events cancelled because of lack of interest we will aim to give at least three weeks’ notice wherever possible.

Please note we are NOT able to refund any associated or consequential costs including but not limited to travel, accommodation, insurance premium or other costs incurred by you in order to attend the event.
