Description
We meet for this ride at 9.30am at the Southwark Needle. The 15 mile route for the ride can be downloaded from here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38238204.
The route takes us through Paradise Gardens and along Lambeth Walk to the new Nine Elms development, where we will take a look at the Sky Pool. We recently discovered a cut-through which takes us to the new Nine Elms Underground Station, so we will use this and then take a look at the other new station - Battersea Power Station.
We stop off at Battersea Park for a refreshment break and then cross the Thames to visit the site of Millbank Prison. We then continue past Westminster Abbey to Hyde Park. We then return along Oxford Street back to Blackfriars Station, where the ride finishes.
Please do not attend if you are displaying Coronavirus symptoms.
