Why is the River Quaggy like our cycling club?
Because you don't just find it in Lewisham - you can also find it in Greenwich and Bromley!
As we now know how important it is for the name of our cycling group to match the name of the bank account into which its members pay membership subscriptions, numbers on this ride will be limited to 15 so that priority access can be given to those who have paid the £10 per year East End Cycling Club membership subscription. This subscription should be paid to Andrea Caldera either in cash or via PayPal to email@example.com.

This ride traces the course of the River Quaggy from its confluence with the River Ravensbourne, near a tower block in central Lewisham, through Kidbrook and Eltham, out to Chinbrook Meadows, where it is fed from the upper reaches of the river in Bromley. On this occasion we won't be venturing into deepest Bromley, as this is reserved for when we do our Ride to Source of the River Quaggy.
On our way back we stop off at Well Hall Pleasaunce for coffee and then return through Kidbrook and Blackheath to Cutty Sark Gardens, where the ride finishes.
