Return to Lyonesse is a stunning storytelling performance from Mike O’Connor, accompanied by harper Barbara Griggs.

Described as hauntingly beautiful, lyrical and mystical, Return to Lyonesse has been recreated by Mike O’Connor from the remaining fragments of Celtic legends, weaving together Cornish, Breton and Welsh myths that tell of lost lands under the sea.

Cornish teller Mike, who also sings and plays violin in the show, pieced these myth-fragments together to make a single narrative, which was then set to music written and performed by harpist Barbara Griggs to create a magical performance.

Part of Summerlands Storytelling Festival which is supported by funding from the National Lottery through grants from Awards for All and Arts Council England.
