CREST OF DARKNESS (Friday)

Ingars' brainchild Crest Of Darkness was conceived in the mid-nineties when his former band Conception was still at its peak. As opposed to Conception, the idea behind C.o.D. was unquestionable a product of Ingars' passion for sheer sonic brutality and devotion to the satanic ideology according to Anton LaVeys' Church Of Satan and the Satanic Bible. The contents of C.o.D.'s lyrics clearly reflect Ingars' beliefs as well as his deep admiration for vampirism.

ABDUCTION (Saturday)

UK black metal is continually being renewed, continually cycling through new generations of devotees - and pretenders. ABDUCTION cares not for contemporaries, neither domestically nor abroad; only the experience of black metal's most sacred sensations matter. Ever restless, ABDUCTION now reveals its darkest truth: All Pain as Penance.

FORMICARIUS (Sunday)

"A tidal wave of bombastic black metal grandeur... Truly a classic to be" - ZERO TOLERANCE Magazine

"Londoners Formicarius are immersed in blackness. As 'Lake Of The Dead' shows, they're inherently part of the black metal heritage, but have an approach that takes the sound right back to its British roots." - MALCOLM DOME, Legendary metal journalist

"Blasting fury in coils of wicked melody, swathes of monstrous power and high velocity in cold shrouds of melancholic atmosphere" - TERRORIZER Magazine

"Possessing all the grandeur and gothic magic of Cradle of Filth at their best... Formicarius had it all" - POWERPLAY Magazine

SUFFERING (Saturday)

Formed in 1994, Suffering were a death metal band from east london. During the mid 90's suffering played numerous gigs and gained a strong following in the london death metal scene, during their time they released a few classic demo's before deciding to split up in 1999 and falling into the dark realms of obscurity, although they did reform for one night only in 2009 for Grey's 40th birthday gig but then disappeared again. Now back in 2019, for a one-off celebration of Grey's 50th, they will bring that 90's suffering to the now! Well, until Grey's 60th...?

MARW (Saturday)

"....a very fine first statement, creating music that sears the senses with the broiling intensity of its riffing, the frequently frenzied drum tumults, and the extreme, tortured sensation of the vocals.
...Marw is a disorienting and disturbing experience, but a thoroughly gripping one." - No Clean Singing, August 2019

SANGUINEM (Saturday)

Formed by Geos Letona who was writing some tunes recording guitars, bass and programming some drums as he got a very important new inspiration, Jerry Sadowski Geos's band mate from Ace Mafia joined forces when Geos asked if he would be interested to do the drumming in his brand new project, still looking for members, Geos found a new singer Ricardo Gates who fell in love with the tunes instantly as they are very soulful, powerful and organic and Sanguinem was formed.

TERRA (Friday)

"The trio mine the same vein as USBM acts such as Fell Voices or Ash Borer or even Wolves In The Throne Room and the Cambridgeshire group hold their own against such established projects. Terra radiates with an epic scale and tracks weave gorgeous guitars through threads of pulsing drums and a vocal that is harsh, cold and ever so slightly hidden beneath the music, creating a world of uncertainty and anguish". - Cheryl Carter, Thrash Hits

ROAD MUTANT (Saturday)

Thrash, death, mutant punks sums it up nicely I think!

CHRISTGRINDER (Sunday)

Formed in 2010, Christgrinder are a blackened death metal band based in London and North Staffordshire.

The brainchild of Baron Piotr Von Christgrinde, a man caught somewhere between philosopher and the proprietor of a 19th century freak show, Christgrinder build their sound on deep foundations of black and death metal, deftly guiding the listener through a cabinet of curiosities gathered from the full spectrum of extreme music: Gato Barbieri's saxophone that screams like a woman... an old tibetan bell that only chimes at 666 Hz... Kevin Sharp’s grindcore trousers... These are just a few of the treasures to be found in The Baron’s wunderkabinet.

DRAUGR (Saturday)

Draugr push the limits of music with a combination of Orchestral and Melodic scores with memorable Death Metal-induced riffs. Followed up with a theatrical live performance with personally designed stage outfits and imagery. Uniquely standing out from the crowd, they go beyond the boundaries of what has been defined as Symphonic and Melodic Metal over time.
