DESECRATION

Formed in 1993 and after just one demo 'Mangled Remains' DESECRATION recorded their debut album 'Gore & Perversion' (1995), which was banned upon release! The artwork AND lyrics led the band to their arrest under the Obscene Publications Act. A one year court case was eventually dropped but they were warned to 'tone down' in the future. A Norwegian record label later released this album with a censored cover.

DECREPIT MONOLITH

As well as creating dark and brutal black metal with influences from death and other genres the bands other core objective was to deliver a full live experience. Over the next few months the set evolved to enhance the custom leather body armour with large wooden crucifixes adorned with chains, back drop and stage panels adorned with a split ram's head. Blood is now used on all performances and full lighting rig is being built to further enhance the experience of a Decrepit Monolith show.
