    Description

    Important News

The workshop is full now, but please proceed to register so we can notify you if a  free place becomes available.

The Smart Mobility Living Lab: London will be holding a workshop on the safety of future mobility Systems in order to produce a research roadmap for the use of government and industry stakeholders and research funders.

Since 2015 over £250 million has been invested into industry-led R&D but the academic sector has fallen behind and challenges that need basic research or independent leadership are not well-addressed. This will constrain the development and application of future mobility systems.

This workshop seeks to build a research roadmap that will be a guiding resource for research funders. It will be informed by the needs of emerging CAM industries, will be led by the academic research sector and will be made available to policymakers at national and international levels.

This workshop will comprise scene setting podium presentations and round table discussions. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the newly developed Smart Mobility Living Lab in London (SMLL) and the Human Factors Research Lab (HFRL) at Loughborough University.
