    Description

“The next generation of witty Scottish indie pop” – The Quietus

Randolph’s Leap are a Glasgow-based musical project ranging from a solo act to an eight-piece band. Nairn-born Adam Ross and friends have been writing pop music for unpopular people since 2010.

The band specialise in creating a joyous, brass-tinged folk-pop racket which has grabbed the attention of major cultural figures across the United Kingdom. An extensive back catalogue of DIY home recordings was topped off in 2014 with their first full-length album ‘Clumsy Knot’, released on Lost Map Records. Recent years have seen the festival favourites curate a series of sell-out music and comedy events titled ‘I Can’t Dance To This Music’, feature Michael Fish in a video for setlist staple ‘Weatherman’ , record repeat sessions on 6Music and perform across the UK, including a solo tour with James Yorkston (Domino). Randolph’s Leap are usually Adam Ross (guitar/vocals), Adam Firenze (drums), Vicki Cole (bass), Andrew MacLellan (electric guitar/cello), Heather Fox (violin), Ali Hendry (trumpet), Fraser Gibson (trombone) and Pete MacDonald (keyboards). 2016 (a leap year, naturally) sees the band release their second album with Olive Grove Records.

“They will be huge” – Ian Rankin, Scottish crime writer

“A band deserving of every shred of love and success which came Belle & Sebastian’s way” – The Scotsman “Masters of melody... lo-fi indie-pop gems” – The Metro

    "They're ace!" – Marc Riley, BBC 6Music
