Queer Diary
The night where LGBTQ+ folks read aloud from their REAL teenage diaries, poetry, fanfiction and more!
“If a Queer Diary event was scheduled on the Moon, the most anti-capitalist queers would be befriending Bezos in hopes of securing a rocket ride.” – DIVA Magazine
A handful of brave queer folk take to the mic to re-tell tales from their formative years in the name of nostalgia, solidarity, celebration.
Join us for an evening of earnest journal entries, long-lost love letters, fabulous fan-fiction stories, terrible Tumblr posts, and possibly the odd bit of cringey poetry…
At Queer Diary the goths, the punks, the emos, the nerds, the glee-clubbers (and maybe a few populars?) come together as grown-ups, to share our younger selves’ innermost thoughts. We can’t promise to reunite you with your first crush, but we do aim to reignite that rush of adrenaline you got when they first noticed you.
Got something from your teens to share?
Queer Diary is an open-mic event - LGBTQIA+ adults of all identities & ages are encouraged to sign up. Bring us your diaries (or whatever you wrote in your youth!) Sign up in advance to guarantee your spot on the mic: bit.ly/queerdiary
Audiences say:
“It’s like that ‘Mortified’ podcast – but all queer!”
"Very welcoming to all identities.”
“A joy to be a part of.”

I have not received my Queer Diary ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Queer Diary tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your Queer Diary tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.
-
I have registered on the Queer Diary waiting list, what happens now?
If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the Queer Diary event online. For more information on this, read here.
-
What is refund protection and why would I need it?
