Description
Celebrate the Winter Solstice with us and enjoy a serene, rejuvenating evening of Qigong and a Sound Bath in the heart of Camden Town.
This event is designed to help you relax, unwind, and reconnect with your essence.
Perfect for anyone looking to nourish their wellbeing and increase mindfulness.
Experience a half-day of peace, gentle movement, and positive energy. Barry, an experienced Qigong teacher with over thirty years of practice, will guide you through a grounding Qigong session to prepare you for a candle-lit Sound Bath led by Marco, a Sound Therapy Practitioner since 2012.
After the session, we’ll offer some food and drinks—a perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and share your experience of the day.
We look forward to celebrating the end of the year with you.
We can’t wait to see you on the 20th!
Organiser
Marco is a London-based sound therapy practitioner who has been exploring the healing power of sound since 2011. He trained with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, where he earned his Practitioner Level Diploma, and has since continued to deepen his practice through numerous workshops with leading sound pioneers.
His teachers include Don Conreaux (gongs), Natasha Nikeprelevic and Michael Ormiston (overtone singing, Mongolian Khoomii), Laraaji (voice and laughter), Dr. John Beaulieu (tuning forks), and Jeff Strong (drum healing). He has also completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2 with Michael Kaufmann, alongside studies in breathwork, meditation, and Tai Chi.
In his one-to-one therapeutic sessions, Marco — also known as Sound Salvej — works with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, voice, and intuitive sound to promote relaxation and restore balance. For group sound baths and immersive soundscapes, he incorporates gongs and a variety of acoustic and organic instruments to create rich, transformative sonic experiences.
Based in his studio near London Fields, Hackney, Marco offers individual sessions and continues to explore the boundless world of sound and vibration.
