Description

The Widgeon Theatreboat is staging a fantastic, very imaginative Puppet show, never before been seen. An inspiration created by the Assorted Oddities Puppetry Company in collaboration with the Little Angel Theatre.

''Imagine you wake up in the morning to discover you have no nose. Just a blank space in the middle of your face. Imagine your nose embarks on a journey to find it’s destiny. Where is your nose going? Will it ever come back?

This story, based on the Russian short story by Nikolai Gogol, follows the sensory adventures of a mischievous nose. Dissatisfied with his position in the middle of the face, he decides there must be more to life.

This show was written and produced by Assorted Oddities puppetry company in collaboration with the Little Angel Theatre. It is brought to life by five second year students from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Puppetry: Design and Performance pathway of the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice course. Directed by prestigious Puppeteer Rene Baker with the creative support of acclaimed puppet maker Alison Alexander.''

The shows are just under an hour long there are refreshments care of the Theatreboat and facilities nearby.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard the Widgeon.
