Join us for the next Psychedelic Supper, this time on the topic of Psychedelics, Gender & Sexuality, part of our 'Psychedelics and Feminism' event series.
Over a three-course meal, through a mixture of rituals, talks, discussions and spoken word, we will explore questions such as:
* Have you ever assigned gender characteristics to certain psychedelic substances and the types of experiences they provoke?
* Have psychedelics changed your perspectives regarding gender and/or sexuality?
* What is the relationship between justice movements centering around gender and sexuality, and the justice movement for psychedelic rights/cognitive liberty?

Speakers
Boe Huntress:
Boe Huntress is a mytho-poetic musician who writes about the taboo, including sex, menstruation and violence, alongside mythological and archetypal symbolism. Having studied feminine archetypes with a shamanic tantrika, she brings this ancient knowledge and her own personal experience with psychedelics to this discussion.

Lisa Luxx
Lisa Luxx is a writer, editor, artist and performer. Her work covers the existential crisis of the net generation, politics of queerdom, female sexuality, psychedelic philosophy, expressions of mental health and portraits of the unusual, outcast characters in society.
Her poetry and essays have been published in numerous anthologies internationally and she has featured at premier spoken word nights like Bookslam and Jazz Verse Jukebox, as well as performing at festivals including Isle of Wight and Small World.
She is founding editor of Prowl magazine, a publication distributed internationally, that explores the art of being human in the post-net world.
Her latest collection of poetry Polyphonic Scars is out now. She is currently working on a stage show about mental health.

The supper is bring-and-share, and we ask that each person contributes a vegetarian dish (a starter, main or dessert). You are welcome to bring your own drinks. At 10pm, we'll clear the tables and dance the night away to a stellar lineup of cosmic DJs.
*** This event is also part of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) Global Psychedelic Dinners. MAPS are fundraising to buy a kilo of MDMA, to be used in upcoming Phase 3 clinical trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for post traumatic stress disorder.
