Be Kind Movement are thrilled to be collaborating with International Fashion Designer and Celebrity Stylist Pria Kataaria Puri to host a Fashion Pop up to raise funds for the Girl Child's Education.
About Pria Kataaria Puri:
Pria has dressed Paris Hilton, Queen Rania of Jordan, Oprah Winfrey alongside beauties such as Aishwariya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha in Bollywood. She also hosts the glamorous celebrity TV chat show 'Born Stylish' that debuted in November 2015 with the suave Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Jean Paul Gaultier discussing their style evolution and statement. Subsequent guests have included the glamorous Malaika Arora Khan, Massimiliano Giornetti of Salvatore Ferragamo and one of the iconic Fendi sisters Ilaria Venturini Fendi.
PKP’s range of fusion clothes 'speak' to the wide South Asian diaspora and her trunk shows in LA, San Francisco, Middle East have been equally popular with non-Asians. Pria's signature kaftans, swimwear, stylish dresses, palazzo sets and exquisite sarees will be complimented by Luxury Shoe designer, Lucy Choi, niece of the legendary Jimmy Choo presenting her luxurious affordable range of shoes.
Additional complimentary jewellery, shawl and scarf exhibitors include Zevar, Chahat, Rubina Kapoor and Leanne Claxton.
Proceeds from the event will go towards raising funds for an ongoing scholarship for the girl child to pursue higher education from 14 years age upwards. Since 2000, 1,000 scholarships have been awarded and this project is now being extended to reach the villages and districts in Maharashtra & Goa to benefit 412 girls. Our aim is to make the girl child self-sufficient and financially independent so she can pursue her dreams and goals to live a life free from violence and neglect, on equal parity with men.
This is a free event however registration is mandatory. Last entry: 5.30pm. Doors Close: 6pm
