CANCELLED! Tonight's talk has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances - it *will* be rescheduled. WAG night will still be happening, but with regular drop-in workshop and Q&A
What are your road rights as a cyclist?
Jane Bedford McLaren from Leigh Day Solicitors will be hosting a talk at London Bike Kitchen's Women and Gender-variant night. The talk will centre around what a rider should be able to expect from fellow road users when out riding and then cover what to do when those expectations are not met.
Included will be some useful tips on what to do generally after a collision and then what different things might be relevant depending on the circumstances:
- Collision with a vehicle;
- Collision with another vulnerable road user;
- Collision with a defect in the road;
- Collision with an animal.
Seminar will be at 28 Whitmore Road (not 16, that's our repairs workshop), N1 5QA at 630pm. Show starts at 7 and runs till 8pm. Open to women and gender-variant people. Talk will be 'livestreamed' via our WAG Facebook page if you are unable to attend.
Please RSVP as we have limited capacity of 20 (our workshop is v small). Tickets are free, but we will accept donations on the night. If you can't make it please return your ticket so that someone else may attend!
