Join us at mum-hood for a special workshop on nutrition and the importance it plays in our lives especially as new mums. Life with a newborn is full of new experiences and often new mums forget to think about themselves. This workshop aims to provide you with the knowledge you need to nourish yourself post pregnancy and manage your energy levels to help you recover.
The workshop will take place after one of our regular Mumhood post natal tums @ 2pm with the lovely Caroline A great way to safely re-build your abdominal wall, focusing on re-connecting the deeper core layers in a safe and comfortable environment. Taken on the mat there will be plenty of room to bring your baby in the room with you. (Please note this is not included in the workshop)
In the 60min workshop our nutritionist Kirsty will be looking at
- Food for recovery (c-section/natural birth)
- Avoiding the crash and burn
- Foods for breastfeeding
- Time saving tips
You won’t be leaving empty handed either as Kirsty will be giving out a comprehensive handout with a few recipes and a list of store cupboard essentials to make sure you are well prepared for the road to nutrition.
