"Post Louis' latest single is a slack rock epic, building to buzzy crescendos with rubbery riffs (...) melodramatic and quick flashes of guitar god soloing from Stern." - Pitchfork -
‘Starkly beautiful, if a little unsettling.’ - Interview Magazine -
"Post Louis have succeeded in creating a thrilling revivalism of their own" **** - This is Fake DIY -
‘another blast of wry, inventive, off kilter songwriting’ - Clash Magazine -
‘Singer Stephanie Davin's angelic voice floating [...] Tell me that ain't beautiful.’ - The 405 -
After their first EP 'This Could Be a Bridge' (Inflated Records/Stare Records), which caught the attention of tastemakers such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Dummy and The Line Of Best Fit, Post Louis returned last November with Uptight EP.
In the 9 months between releases, the band completely restructured. Original duo and songwriters Robbie Stern and Stephanie Davin are joined by Andy Stern (guitar, vocals), Adam Turner-Heffer (bass) and Mattis Moviken (drums).
Post Louis are now working on their first full-length LP.
