A poetry supper club with original poems from local poets and food cooked by Lou Kenney of Bobsiloula. Enjoy food for the body and soul as you eat, drink and listen to poems inspired by the theme of remembrance and grief. We have booked four well seasoned and inspiring poets to perform for you and we're aiming for a fun night out, so don't bring your tissues!
Please arrive at 7pm where you'll be welcomed with a tipple and a treat before sitting down at communal tables with your fellow guests and poets. Dinner starts at 7.45pm and the night ends at 11pm. At the end of dinner we'll open the floor to our guests to read or perform a poem so let us know if you'd like to do this and we will try to fit you in. If you'd rather be swept away by the atmosphere, that's cool too!
Drinks will be available to buy at the bar.
The supper club costs £35 per person. If you would like to leave extra, in cash, on the night for our helpers in the kitchen and front of house we'd be very grateful.
Please, no fussy eaters. However, if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please let us know.
Cancellations: If something comes up and there is no way you can make it, please let us know with as much notice as possible. If you cancel less than 48hrs before arrival we will be unable to refund you ticket price, so please pass it on to someone who will enjoy it on your behalf, and let us know who will be coming in your stead.
