Platterform presents

The Foragers

After many weeks of gastronomic discovery and adventure across the seven seas, Platterform set sail on their journey home...

For the final chapter of their epic Sea Adventure Series, the crew navigate their ship up the Essex coast and moor it in a tidal estuary where they are welcomed home by good old friends - The Foragers.

Like the people who once scraped a living fishing the North sea and hunting and foraging for food on the wetland edges of England, The Foragers Welcome Home Menu combines the best of Britain’s land and sea - a true taste of home!

Using unusual and often-overlooked fish, as well as responsibly-sourced game and wild plants, the Foragers ingenious menu gives Londoners the opportunity to sample something completely unique and truly wild!

The Foragers are a team of hunters and gatherers.

Using ingredients we forage ourselves from the countryside of Hertfordshire, we serve up our unique brand of wild food at a number of locations, both permanent and pop-up. You can always find us at our Wild Food Pub, The Verulam Arms in St. Albans, where we are known for our unique and inventive use of wild food and the game, and also for our homemade wild cocktails, liqueurs and drinks and wide selection of craft and world beers.

We run Mobile Kitchens around the country, and are available to cater a range of events.

We organise regular foraging walks, wild food banquets, demonstrations, expeditions and tastings. For more information visit www.the-foragers.com/
