Join internationally renowned artist Aphra Shemza in this one day workshop to learn how to recycle and reform common waste plastics to create superb decorative materials that can be used for creative projects.
Leading on from her project Solutions for a Sustainable Art Practice, Shemza invites other creatives to learn the skills she developed whilst on her three-month artist development program, supported by the Arts Council England.
During this one day class, you will learn how to melt and compress High-Density Polyethylene plastic (milk bottles and food containers) to create sheet material that can be used in a variety of creative ways. Not only will you learn how to recycle the plastic you will also learn how to cut and shape it too; creating coasters and jewelry to take home with you.
The workshop is for over 18s only.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Plastic Workshop tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
