In association with Lila Wild
‘There is not a fragment in all nature, for every relative fragment of one thing is a full harmonious unit in itself.’
John Muir (1838–1914), naturalist and author
Make a moment to disconnect from the digital, switch off your screens and marvel at the magnificent details of humble house plants at our immersive hands-on plant life drawing workshop.
Join us on 11 October amongst the foliage at the Ace Hotel London, as we capture the forms and patterns of our specially created sensory plant installation in association with Lila Wild
Take a macro perspective and marvel the spaces in-between leaves, stalks and petals, and zoom in as we celebrate the inspiring and interconnected textures of veins, bark and spines and ponder the plant patterns which curiously repeat in our own human anatomy.
We will begin with a short talk from the PATTERNITEAM about patterns in nature and the power of noticing more. Materials will be provided as part of the ticket price but feel free to bring your favourite tools.
*This workshop is suitable for everyone - from beginners to more advanced drawers and those from 'non-creative' backgrounds.
Tickets £30 / £25 concessions
