Description

Social Enterprise and Social Good are facilitating a series of sessions, where social businesses share their lessons on pivoting their business models during the CoronaVirus Pandemic. We're charging a small fee which will go towards funding people's social good projects in the group.

It will last 1hr in total with a live Q&A at the end.

During the first week of lockdown, as a social enterprise with all income generation plans for the year mothballed, Bikeworks had one decision to make - to close or not to close?

As social entrepreneurs, Zoe Portlock and Jim Blakemore the co-founders, choose a path of social purpose during unprecedented times.

Repurposing the whole organisation in one week to become an emergency Cycle Delivery service for London, getting essential medicines and food to vulnerable and shielding Londoners, this social enterprise has since pivoted - not one, but twice.

As an inclusive cycling organisation, Bikeworks uses cycling to improve the physical health, wellbeing and connectivity of people in the communities they live in.

Over 6 months later, Zoe will share the journey so far on how they have pivoted with purpose.

Check out the 1BL - One Billion Lives filmed at the time of the emergency Cycling Delivery Service.
