I know we did Kings Wood last year, but the feedback is that it is by far the best location in Kent, so we are going back there.
Come to Kings Wood this April and immerse yourself in a morning filled with creativity and nature's bluebell wonders! The RPS South East Region invites all photography enthusiasts to our fantastic Photographing Bluebells Click Event. Capture these gorgeous flowers in full bloom as the soft golden rays of the early morning sun dance through the trees, creating a stunning canvas for photographers. (Sorry, we can't guarantee the weather)!
Our tour starts bright and early at 7:30 AM, with the meeting point conveniently located at the junction of the A252 and Pound Lane in Molash (postcode CT4 8HH). Park down Pound Lane near the Village Hall.
Arrive by 7:15 AM to ensure you don’t miss a moment of this breathtaking experience. Stroll with fellow photographers down Pound Lane to an excellent area renowned for its picturesque bluebell display.
This charming event is perfect for all skill levels, whether you’re a seasoned photographer or simply love capturing the beauty of nature. There is NO charge for this event; just bring your camera along. We will have a short Zoom session after the event where everyone can share their top three favourite images.

I shall be bringing a wide angle and a long lens. This year I am slowly going to try and emulate Polina Plotnicova who is a wonderful flower photographer. Her essence is quite often to just capture a small part of a flower in focus and make the rest very out of focus. That means I personally will bring along a macro lens or something with a very narrow depth of field. I will try to get permission from her to post a few examples on this website.

We are the South East Regional branch of the Royal Photographic Society. We organise and run events for members in the South East region, although we are also keen to attract non-members interested in photography.
