Kuźnia Polska w Szkocji pragnie zaprosić na koncert pełen przepięknej i inspirującej muzyki. Na edynburskiej scenie rozbrzmiewać będą melodie muzyki tradycyjnej, poezji śpiewanej oraz piosenki turystycznej i żeglarskiej. To będzie niezapomniany wieczór!
Paweł Orkisz jest autorem nastrojowych ballad i popularnych piosenek turystycznych (m.in. żeglarskiego hitu "Przechyły"). Od ponad 35 lat śpiewa piosenki autorskie i polskie tłumaczenia - głównie własne - pieśni największych bardów naszych czasów. Najchętniej przy pomocy słów i dźwięków maluje pogodne nastroje, w starannej oprawie muzycznej opowiada o miłości i nadziei.
Jest autorem wszechstronnym. Napisał przepiękne ballady kolędowe i mądre pieśni patriotyczne. Uznawany za jednego z najlepszych w Polsce wykonawców utworów Cohena, Okudżawy i Wysockiego. Wydał 16 płyt CD (w tym cztery albumy podwójne).

S.H.A. - to spotkanie wynikające z poczucia przynależności do wielobarwnego, podzielonego, ale mimo wszystko współdzielonego miejsca kulturowego jakim jest ta specyficzna część Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej, z której się wywodzą. Hanka to góralka z Zakopanego, w domu rodzinnym mówi gwarą. Susanna urodziła się w Poczajowie na Ukrainie, biegle włada m.in. językiem ukraińskim i łemkowskim, dlatego S.H.A. to śpiew wielogłosowy w kilku językach i gwarach.
S.H.A. - to pieśni własne oraz tradycyjne. Artystki dzielą się tym, co kochają, z czym czują głęboką więź. Jednocześnie sięgają do wspólnych galicyjskich korzeni.
S.H.A. to eksperyment, który zrodził się z potrzeby serca.

The Polish Forge in Scotland would like to invite you to an evening full of beautiful and inspiring music. You will have an oportunity to hear melodies of traditional music, sung poetry and touristic songs and shanties. I will be an evening to remember!
Paweł Orkisz is the author of romantic ballads and popular tourist songs (including the sailing hit "Przechyły"). For over 35 years, he has been singing original songs and Polish translations - mainly his own - songs from the greatest bards of our time. He likes to express cheerful moods with the help of words and sounds, and in a careful musical setting he talks about love and hope.
He is a versatile author. He wrote beautiful carols and wise patriotic songs. He is considered one of the best performers of works by Cohen, Okudzhava and Wysocki in Poland. He has released 16 CDs (including four double albums).

S.H.A. - Susanna Jara & Hanka Wójciak - fascinating combination of unique female voices and temperaments. Susanna & Hanka merged their charisma and brought personal experience from their own formations. Individually, they were awarded in major ethno now they sing together and create unusual atmosphere.
This is a meeting of incredibly diverse Middle-Eastern European cultures. Despite fragmentation and contrasts, S.H.A. explores universal spirit of this cultural region. They sing in seven languages and dialects: Polish, Ukrainian, Slovak, Gypsy, Rusyn and dialects of Highlanders.
Susanna & Hanka sing traditional and original songs. They share passion and inspirations, drawing from their Galician roots. Their creativity meets beyond borders and involves multinational and multicultural identities of each artist.
From common history of the Slavic nations, shared muse, joy and hope, emerges Galician and Carpathian genius loci.
