We celebrate the centenary of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s birth with an exhibition of 29 portraits by photographer Dino Pedriali, curated by Professor Marco Belpoliti.
The photos, taken shortly before Pasolini’s tragic death in 1975, portray the intellectual at his two homes: Sabaudia and Torre di Chia. The striking pictures reveal the intimacy between the subject and the photographer, and constitute one of the last traces of one of the most significant writers and intellectuals of the Novecento.
On Friday 9 December, at 6pm we will celebrate the opening of the exhibition with a brief introductory conversation with the curator, writer and critic Professor Marco Belpoliti, and with Professor Robert Gordon.
