Description

We're back!

Grab a drink and join us for Parlour Room Session #3.

We're celebrating and exploring all things entrepreneurial. We´ll be talking about the big steps and the small - from starting a company to thinking more like an entrepreneur in our current 9 to 5s.

Local entrepreneur, Emilie Holmes, of Good & Proper Tea will be joining us to tell us more about her journey from quitting her job in advertising in her mid 20s to now being the proud owner of two brilliant cafe shops in the heart of Shoreditch and Farringdon and Britain's best tea-brewing van.

Holly Porter, Founding Director of architecture studio, Surface to Air and the network for women in the construction industry, Chicks with Bricks, will also be joining us. Holly will be telling us about her own experiences of being an entrepreneur in a sector where women are particularly underrepresented, as well as discussing what she sees as the challenges for women in the construction industry and the potential ways forward.

And, Mehjabeen Patrick, CFO of Creative England, will join us for a wider view of the sector and to discuss entrepreneurialism from the point of view of the investors.

Hope to see you there!
