This afternoon event will bring together Gabby Deeming and Rose de Borman for a drawing and paper-cutting workshop over afternoon tea at The New Craftsmen.
Gabby is the current Decoration Director at House & Garden and stylist extraordinaire. Rose is an East London based textile artist and ceramicist inspired by British folklore and pagan ceremonial tradition. She travels the world sourcing antique textiles and has worked with clients from Louis Vuitton to Lanvin to Liberty.
During the workshop participants will be lead through the paper-cutting process by Rose, drawing inspiration from her solo-exhibition and The New Craftsmen's space. These designs will then be applied to vibrantly coloured silk squares - drawing on Rose's rich knowledge of textiles techniques and Gabby's expertise in colour and pattern.
