    Description

    //London Decom Afterparty, 2016//

    Keep your London Decompression fire lit with an all day love-in of great music, workshops, art, dancing, celebration and reconnection with all your favourite people-- brought to you by the London-based Euroburn camp Pandemonium. It starts shortly after the Coronet doors close, and runs all day until 4pm.

    We'll be hosting DJs and a live music zone, projections, workshops and fluffy chilled spaces. Like Decom- and all the Burns- this is created by you! Get in touch if you'd like to get involved- pandemoniumpresents@gmail.com

    //The finer details//

    //GETTING THERE//

    From the Coronet, first Northern Line tube starts at 5.41am (we're a couple weeks shy of the inaugural Northern line night tube!) - to Old Street, where you can get buses to the Hive.

    From Elephant, you can also get 35 or 133 (from stop F) & then 149 or 242, or it's about 15 minutes in a taxi.

    //VENUE & CATERING//

    We've been fortunate to once again collaborate with the amazing community space The Hive, who will this year be providing us with delicious (& well priced) vegan and vegetarian treats throughout the day through their cafe, as well as cheap drinks at the bar.

    //A NOTE ABOUT THE HIVE//

    The HIVE project is really exciting, and we're super happy to be working with them again this year. This independent social space facilitated by not-for-profit company, ReSpace Projects, enables the temporary use of empty buildings for social good. The building is a four-storey ex-office block that was empty for nearly eight years. By creating an infrastructure-based model that is flexible, easy to implement and delivers genuine benefits to landlords, communities and councils, ReSpace Projects propose a blueprint that can inform future planning for a more effective and inclusive approach to resource management.

    Integral to this project is maintaining a good relationship with their neighbours, and we play an important part in this. Please be aware of the noise you're making coming and going from the building, and in the smoking area out the front. If you meet anyone from the local community, feel free to tell them that it's a daytime community event- and that we haven't been raving all night (at least, not in the HIVE!). The HIVE absolutely loved working with the Burner community last year, and they're super excited to have us back.

    //LNT//

    This is obviously a leave no trace event.

    //ACCESSIBILITY//

    We will do our absolute best to ensure that this event is accessible to all if you have access requirements, please contact pandemoniumpresents@gmail.com. Please give us as much notice as you can so we can organise provisions with your support.

    //SECURITY//

    We will once again have lovely security staff familiar with our events who will be looking out for us all.

    We'll have a designated area for stashing your belongings- but please note that we won't be manning a 'cloakroom', and all care but no responsibility can be taken for your stuff. If you're going to Decom, you'll (hopefully) still have your ID with you once you arrive (you *need* this to get in to the Coronet, regardless of how old you think you appear), as well as other valuables- so it's worth considering an outfit that allows you to keep these on your person :)

    If you'd like to drop off a change of clothes/bag, you're welcome to do so between 6 and 9pm on Friday 4th. You may get roped in to helping set up ;)

    This is an over-18s event only.

    //TICKETING//

    There are two releases of tickets (both priced at £15)- Monday 10th and Monday 24th. This will sell out, and there won't be tickets available on the door.

    A small portion of each general admission ticket price supports members of our community with less financial resources, 'cause we want everyone to be there! If you need a low income ticket (£10) please apply by emailing pandemoniumpresents@gmail.com - these are delegated on a first come basis, so please get in touch ASAP!

    Much love, and sooo much excitement to see you all again!
