Hello all i am so pleased to be back and seeing you all again.
I have been busy doing many things, all Palestinian ofcourse, writing my second book, exploring new recipes and spreading the word on this fabulous cuisine.
My first Event is the 20th of September, and i will be doing them till the end of the year with a different menu each time with recipes from my new book.
Please find below the menu for the first dinner.
*All the meat is Halal.

Welcome drink - Prosecco with orange blossom and dried rose buds
Starters
Ful Mudammas - Warm smashed brown broad bean dip with lemon, garlic, chilli and olive oil
Spicy sujuk puffs with simsim
Vegetarian Kubbeh Nayeh - Mixed vegetables cooked with bulgar and shaped into finger sized portions
Cabbage salad with cumin, lemon, and mint dressing
Allayet Banadora - slowly Sautéed tomato dip with dried mint, and chilli and garlic
(a selection of pickles, olives, labneh with za'atar and vegetables will be served in the middle of each table with Khubez)
Main course -
Daoud Basha - Lamb meatballs cooked in a tangy tamarind and tomato sauce served with caramelised onions and pine nuts and a side of vermicelli rice
&
Tomato and onion salad
Dessert
Halawet il smeed - buttery semolina and orange blossom dessert with slivers of pistachio
