Palava Tree is a series of topical meetings for people of African and African-Caribbean heritage.

This session is an open session for the community, where we can discuss any topic and just combat isolation.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Palava Tree discusses issues around mental health, physical health, community discussions, lifestyle and COVID 19 effects on the community. It is a safe space to speak out, discuss and share experiences and combat isolation.
Activities are designed to gain more information and approach the pandemic through critical reflection and through peer support and discussions. In addition, participants are able to acquire tools and practices to live healthier and more balanced.
Participating
The project is created for participants in the Midlands. We are creating a safe space for people of African and Caribbean heritage to discuss these topics. Spaces are limited.
Funded weekly sessions by the National Lottery Community Fund have ended now. But we are keeping the space open once a month. Donations are welcome.
