Taster Course
This course is a great introduction to kayaking & canoeing and will start your child on their way to gaining their first qualifications.
Participants MUST ARRIVE by 12.15 to complete paperwork on this first taster visit. Parents may NOT leave on this first visit but must stay on site (afterwards parents are free to leave for the duration of their time).
This is a booking ticket only to reserve your space as they are on a first come first served basis. Following registration you will be emailed with specific details of the event.
Toilets and changing available but only water to drink on site.
For future reference - local attractions are available near the site with walks, park, cafe and toilet.

What can I bring into the event?
There is a lovely grassy space well sheltered and shady. There is open water so vigilance MUST be exercised at all times as you are responsible for your children. I would bring extra clothes and towels. Snacks and warm drinks.

What's the refund policy?
When you sign up for the course we can not offer refunds. On the Taster Day - you are permitted to sell on your ticket but please send us an email to ensure we know who is turning up to fill your space. They MUST have a copy of your ticket. You are solely responsible for selling on your ticket.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
Yes
Please ensure you allow enough travel time to reach the venue and to walk down the track (5 minutes) please be prompt as the others may well already be on the water if you are late.
Some activities/classes may also take place at a sister venue nearby but details will be provided in advance unless unforeseen circumstances prevent this.
VENUE RULES MUST BE OBEYED FOR SAFETY REASONS
Failure to comply could result in a forfeit of your place on the course and loss of remaining course fees.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
