"Hertfordshire-born Otis Simpson has a voice that’s mature far beyond his 23 years. Inspired by some of the true greats – think Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles etc. It is these influences that have shaped the young artist's vision and performance style. For the past year, Otis has been collaborating with an array of London's hottest producers, which has quickly led to him creating a name for himself as both a songwriter and a singer. Now, ready to present and perform his original material he hopes to redefine and reclaim the meaning of Modern Soul."

Cecil
Berkshire born singer-songwriter Cecil has had an unstoppable passion for music all of her life. She’s been championed by BBC Berkshire alongside the release of her song ‘Lasso’, and was a semi finalist for Open Mic UK 2015, where she beat 10,000 other entrants and has since been elevating rapidly to even greater success.
Cecil’s other inspiration came from her Great Uncle, BBC legend Cecil McGivern. The renowned pioneer was originally a BBC producer, seconded to the BBC in London following World War II. He was instrumental in crafting British War Propaganda programmes for the BBC in the support of the war effort, which eventually earned him a CBE for services to Queen and Country. His other accolades included devising Panorama and heading up programming for the channel. Alongside all of this he was nominated for an Oscar following his screenplay for the classic 1946 version of ‘Great Expectations’.
