This Leather Craft Workshop by Kingsley Walters is the perfect introduction to making traditional leather goods as well as fashion accessories. This workshop will provide you with the core skills to make leather products but also the foundations to then progress and continue to make leather products for your friends and family. In this practical leather workshop you will be taught how to make a leather card holder using only traditional hand techniques from vegetable tanned leather. Patterns and workshop notes are provided for specialist workshop and a ‘Suppliers List’ for those wishing to continue to develop their range after the workshop.
To maximise the output of the workshop a leather tool kit will be sent out to you in advance.

Kingsley Walters is originally trained in tailoring, from working with high quality denim he became captivated with leather and leather-craft. He makes practical and durable pieces, utilising traditional hand-crafted methods of Leather, no machinery is involved in the production. All the leather is naturally vegetable-dyed, traceable to source and purchased here in London. Kingsley now runs his own studio in East London and is selling his leather products in multiple shops all over the world.
All proceeds support our After School Club for local state school students.

STORE STORE is a design shop and educational space located in Coal Drops Yard and on Stoke Newington Church Street. STORE STORE hosts design and making workshops open to the public run by London based makers. All proceeds from the Saturday Workshops support our wider educational programme.
