ONE PAGE GRAPHIC NOVEL WORKSHOP
HOSTED BY: London Drawing Group
2 hours | 15 places available
In this session, we will be investigating how a single page in a graphic novel can carry the narrative power of the entire story.
Visual narratives allow stories to be told with images rather than words and encourage any graphic style to lend its own language to the way a whole story can be conveyed through just a few panels. Through a series of fun exercises you will be encouraged to think up your own short story, choose the most important section and transform this into a completed final page, taking care to plan each panel, consider composition, creating strong and clear content, as well as utilising colour and mark making to create a story with a unique identity.
You'll leave the class with a completed final page and the tools that will encourage you to keep on creating in this amazingly versatile medium!
