Learn the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Squat and assistance lifts in order to improve weightlifting ability and speed, power, flexibility and strength for sporting performance for either yourself or clients / athletes.
This workshop focuses on teaching the benefits of Olympic Weightlifting, basic programming, how to perform and coach the lifts, along with how to spot and correct errors and regress and progress exercises as required.
How it differs to the 1 day weightlifting workshop is that is spends more time on learning the coaching points in order to train others and includes an assessment at the end which once passed gives you a certificate as an Olympic Weightlifting Trainer (accredited through REPS).
This workshop is well suited for: athletes, sports coaches, PE teachers, physiotherapists, sports degree students, aspiring strength & conditioning coaches.
