OOC behind closed doors

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a train depot?

This is your opportunity to look round one of GWR’s main intercity depots with a personal tour around giving a unique insight into its inner workings. The tour, which will last approximately 45 minutes, will include areas which are not open to the public on the day. Each tour group will be limited to 10 people, so spaces are limited and we recommend you book early.

Note, whilst on the tour you will at times walk on uneven surfaces and also visit areas that are not suitable for wheelchairs and buggys ect.

Tours will start at 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30 and 15:30.

OOC Tour Ticket Prices:

Tickets for the tours have now ALL sold out.

Old Oak Common Elizabeth Line Depot Tour Tickets:

Tickets for the tours have now ALL sold out.

Limited to 14 people per tour, starting from 11:20am, every 20 minutes after, with final tour beginning at 3pm. Therefore, only 168 tickets available and expected to sell out quickly!

Tickets are priced at £30 and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Place2Be, the leading national children’s mental health charity, and will go towards helping 34 local schools.

Please note that the tour may walk on uneven surface, and that stout footwear is essential, as no safety footwear shall be provided. It is also recommended not to wear shorts. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and the minimum age is 4. The tour starts and finishes by a gate behind the Open Day’s main gate line on the GWR site. Please try to be ready for the tour 5 minutes before the start time so that tickets and the above can be checked. Failure of any of the above could result in forfeiting your ticket.

You must hold a valid entry ticket for the OOC111 open day to purchase an Elizabeth Line Depot tour ticket. This price does NOT include entry into the OOC111 open day.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
