Newcastle's Dave Johns is now known to millions for his lead role in celebrated director Ken Loach’s 2016 film I, Daniel Blake. Long beforehe became an accidental film star, Dave had an enviable reputation as an inventive, exciting and extremely funny comedian winning applause from his audiences, 
respect from his fellow comics and rave reviews from the critics.

Geordie Gavin Webster is famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach, hard edged routines, quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs. Gavin's contributions to stand up over the last twenty years were recognised when he was voted 2014 Circuit Comedian Of The Year by fellow comedians and promoters. 2016 saw Gavin make his big screen debut as 'Joe' in Ken Loach's 'I, Daniel Blake'.
