Description
Manuela is a leading Italian singer and composer who has shared the stage with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan and George Duke. As a professional singer-songwriter, her passion lies mainly in soul, jazz and fusion.
Having grown up in a musical family in Venice, Manuela developed a passion for singing as a child. She spent her teens co-writing and co-producing with local musicians, but her ambitions soon took her to London where she became a regular at the legendary 10 Rooms club. Her first musical director was Eric Robinson, the pianist and singer for the likes of Diana Ross and Aretha Franklyn, and soon she landed a publishing deal with Sony.
More recently, Manuela fronted the Amy Lives project, performing Amy Winehouse's songs with her original band. She released her first EP in 2012 of her own compositions, and is currently working on two more albums.
Expect soul grooves, Latin rhythms and flamboyant singing.
