Night Sheen is a club night founded by DJ, producer and vocalist Josh Caffe – spawned from his mix series under the same title. The night is co-hosted with residents Hannah Holland (Batty Bass records) and Capracara (Unknown to the Unknown). Taking up residency at their new home, Dalston local mecca Birthdays, the club night brings in the best of local and international DJ talent.
Night Sheen has been running successfully for a year and aims to capture the rawness, energy, eclectic music and open minded spirit of old skool Detroit underground warehouse parties.
The music genre varies from house and techno to electronica and ghetto tech and over its first year, Night Sheen has gained interest and support from the likes of Glastonbury’s block 9, Soho jams radio, DJ magazine and Ransom Note.

Josh Caffe is an assured part of the underground house and techno scene. He is someone who has nurtured a close following of fans and press thanks to his always impressively varied yet on point DJ sets. They find him mixing up ghetto tech, house and techno with great technical and crowd reading skills. He has laid down such sets at both cosy basement parties and larger festival gatherings such as Glastonbury, Lovebox, Farr Festival and clubs like Dance Tunnel, Renate (Berlin), TV Lounge (Detroit), Primary (Chicago), Crosstown Rebels/Get Lost (Miami).
He is currently resident and founder of the monthly club night Night Sheen, co-hosted with influential spinner Hannah Holland. Josh has also played around the world, at MTV and Brit Award parties as well as vocal performances on Boiler Room, and more besides, always brings a real underground edge whenever he goes. As a vocalist and producer he is just as standout, and early works such as Play With The Maid, in collaboration with Batty Bass boss Hannah Holland, were played far and wide. A follow up EP, Caffe Culture, was a series made with David Newtron (The Subs), and praised by the likes of DJ Mag, THUMP, DJ Hell and Claude von Stroke to name a few. A collaboration with PJU & legendary Robert Owens followed and Give It To Me (Muzikbox) was born, receiving praise and support from press and radio (BBC Radio 1). Releases with legendary Nervous Records and cult London label NOFITSTATE soon followed.

– HANNAH HOLLAND
Hannah Holland is a DJ, producer and label boss. Her career began 10 years ago with legendary DJ residencies at seminal London clubs Trailer Trash, Batty Bass and Dalston Superstore. Hannah regularly appears at clubs such as Fabric London, Dance Tunnel, Ministry Of Sound and Bugged Out! She has toured the world extensively, China, Singapore, Australia and North America have all rocked out to Hannah's distinctive bass heavy sound. Hannah has headlined with such luminaries as: Steffi, Luke Solomon, Alinka, Shaun J. Wright, Rodhad, Dan Beaumont, Green Velvet, Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe, Jennifer Cardini, Chloe & Josh Caffe. Her distinct productions, which fuse many styles, into hybrid of house, techno and bass can be heard alongside an impressive roster of talent on her labels Batty Bass and Native City.

Capracara is no stranger to the bumping sounds of house and garage, and explores the grey areas between the two genres for Rush Hour and Unknown To The Unknown, not to mention previous releases on respected labels like Soul Jazz and James Murphy’s DFA stable.
